Hi Horse and All, Are emotions pre-intellect? IMHO Love is indefinable experience differing from instinctive behavior. It seems that the emotion of Love is prior to intellectual abstraction.
Animals cannot experience DQ. All of their experience is defined SQ. Instinct is not emotional. I would say that indefinable emotions are the first experience of indefinable consciousness DQ/SQ. The infant's cry for close contact for something does not have the same reality as the calf's instinctive butting its head against the cow for access to a nipple for food. IMHO!
