The big bang is an artifact of consciousness because "big" is a relative
modifier and depends upon a mindful comparison to "little".

Of course that's like saying without the letter "b" there wouldn't have
been a big bang.
But the fact is the comparison of phenomena is a mental exercise.  Without
mentation you can't say nothin', really.
