Well, we are talking about Mozart here. For someone to compose like he did, at any age, would be considered 'gifted.' Whether or not he could discuss the theory behind the music at that age is something I really can't address. I've read more about his later years than his early years. Something else that should be considered is the quality of these early works. I've never heard them so I don't know what they sound like. Are they any good? I'm not trying to be argumentative but Mozart has so much 'celebrity' that it can blur our perceptions of his work. When I was young, I was a huge fan of John Lennon, thought he could do no wrong. But as I grew older, I realized that some of his music wasn't all that good and some of it was terrible! Even the best are capable of the worst. Just food for thought. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com MOQ.ORG - http://www.moq.org Mail Archive - http://alt.venus.co.uk/hypermail/moq_discuss/ MD Queries - [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe from moq_discuss follow the instructions at: http://www.moq.org/md/subscribe.html
