This conversation was particularly about Quality. It's about whether or not Quality is the "source of all things", or only comes into play when "man" enters the picture. If "man is the measure of all things" was said in the purest way of idealism, then nothing existed until "man" stepped onto the scene, maybe as recently as 56,000 years ago if we discount "early man".
