Bo, I was greeing with Magnus, Not because I object to real-time "chatter" - that's how humans communicate socially, and we cannot communicate intellectually without also communicating socially.
But because the thread title and subject matter was party-politics - mediocrity in anybody's book. And again. to avoid any misunderstandings, I was referring to the thread itself, not any particular person's input. I've no problem with Arlo trying to raise the level and, given a requirement to vote, I would be on the "liberal-social" side with Ant and Arlo (?), just that given a choice between party politics and anything else - "pigeon-hole" politics would always be at the mediocre end of any scale - too many excluded middles for my taste, in binary choices. For me politics (and governance generally) is a matter of participation, not voting. Participation is Quality Voting is least-worst, at best.
