Bo, I was greeing with Magnus,

Not because I object to real-time "chatter" - that's how humans
communicate socially, and we cannot communicate intellectually without
also communicating socially.

But because the thread title and subject matter was party-politics -
mediocrity in anybody's book.

And again. to avoid any misunderstandings, I was referring to the
thread itself, not any particular person's input. I've no problem with
Arlo trying to raise the level and, given a requirement to vote, I
would be on the "liberal-social" side with Ant and Arlo (?), just that
given a choice between party politics and anything else -
"pigeon-hole" politics would always be at the mediocre end of any
scale - too many excluded middles for my taste, in binary choices.

For me politics (and governance generally) is a matter of
participation, not voting.
Participation is Quality
Voting is least-worst, at best.
