With apologies to our non-American friends....

Platt said:
And the Kennedy, Johnson, Carter and Clinton administrations were trustworthy?

Case replied:
As compared to Nixon, Reagan, and the Bushes? That's really funny.

dmb says:
Yea, that's hilarious. But don't you think the current administration belongs in its own category? I mean, this guy makes Nixon look noble and he makes Reagan look like a genius. Trustworthy? hell, I honestly can't think of anything the "decider" ever said that was true. Anytime he opens his mouth he's lying or he's wrong and sometimes he's both. If you wanted to measure the sheer weight of the pile of books that list the deception and stupidity displayed by this administration, you'd probably have to take it to one of those truck-stop weight stations along the highway. Even then you might break the springs.

Anybody watch COUNTDOWN with Keith Olbermann? As far as cable news goes, that's as good as it gets. Anyway, he and a guest played a little parlor game which asked, "Who is the worst President ever?" They agreed that the best criteria for picking a winner of this contest was not the the failure to achieve anything postive but rather the amount of damage done and by the amount of time and effort that would be required to undo this damage. It basically became a question of who is the most destructive President in U.S. History. I don't have to tell you who won.

Aren't you glad you're alive to see it? Lucky us.
