Pirsig wrote about care in ZMM.
 
     "A person who sees Quality and feels it as he works
     is a person who cares."
 
But I don't recall reading anything of his where he says a person _must_
do anything.  That doesn't sound like Pirsig at all.

Perhaps.
 
I'm not questioning whether Pirsig and the MoQ recognize emotions and
feelings.  I'm questioning whether and to what extent feelings and
emotions matter, according to the MoQ.
 
It seems to me the MoQ is saying that the height of human existence is
realized individually through the intellect.
 
Do I have this right?
