They try, give-up, try again, give-up again, try
again, and then out-right say I'm going to listen to
anybody anymore and do what I want to do, which turns
into a yelling and screaming, swearing, not
participating in any activities, demeaning staff and
other residents, and eventually, they only go so far,
and leave not always reaching the expectations of the
program. Some hopefully with look back upon what
happened to them in the program, and especially when
they are tested whether to do harm to somebody or just
walk away. Of course, this is a simplistic version.
Do you mean in the day, as in their scheduled
activities, maybe?
Do I like residents? Some yes, some no, some
that I like are even bad, but they seem to try and
talk about things at least, where others will do
things on purpose such as spit, try to hit staff,
degrade ones character - on purpose with an intent
that smells of pure evil and they enjoy it knowing we
can't truly hurt them and this will all go away and
we're supposed to try to be nice to them, etc...
deer at the salt lick,
