Yes, I guess if Phaedrus never came out right and
said he was afraid of Lila we can't know. I was
picturing them riding together, and how Phaedrus did
want Lila to go along with him further south, but Lila
went with Rigel instead. It depends on the kind of
fear we are discussing. I would rather see fear be
transformed into bravery, especially a fear I would be
living with everyday. Since Phaedrus was with Lila
that long, and thought of the possibility of her and
him traveling south, could somebody fear somebody in a
healthy way that long - no (note I said healthy). But
Lila left, so... Phaedrus separated not only from Lila
but also Rigel leaves and Phaedrus traveling south
leaves a story not written. None of them died at the
end of the book, but was everything resolved? I know
we still question.

I read the book only once. I think I'm going to
read it again. I didn't see Lila as dq. I didn't see
Phaedrus as dq or the hero for that matter either. I
saw people discussing their point of view, and the
author would narrate at times a philosophy. I didn't
think of the characters as representing any of the
levels or dq until some people discussed such a thing
on this website. It is an interesting take, and I
know when I read a book such as this one, only once,
I'm definitely not getting all the information.

Yes, I think so. You want to talk about Lila.
That doesn't mean I know your interests inside and
out.

What about women? Or is it only about Lila,
which would mean it's not so much Lila as a female
that your interested in, but Lila as dq that your
interested in?

This is a very interesting discussion. I'm learning
something here.

wind blowing,
