Awhile back I tried to explain the connection I see with Topos theory on
just that subject. MOQ
coupled with emergence and topos would give, as you say, a more powerful
intellectual framework.
I feel they are all pointing in the same direction and support each
other's arguments.

I rejoined the list after my long absence just on the tail end of the Topos
thread, so I recognize the name, but missed the reference & arguments. If I
have time, I'll look in the list archives to familiarize myself.

One of the reasons I have been drawn to Pirsig is that what he says and
recontextualizes into the frames of moral philosophy, aesthetics, Eastern
mysticism, cultural studies, etc. is so consilient with systems and
complexity science. I have to agree that these intellectual tools should be
able to enhance and extend the MOQ.
