[Ron] I left for awhile because when I first joined I was in a very emotional state and I was driven to question my perception of the way of things, I really needed to engage on a theoretic level with basic ideas, there were not any threads running of this type at the time and ones like the the thread I'm responding to were dominating the scene. I was new and I simply wanted to engage someone and create relationships with a focus on addressing some fundemental questions I had. In this process of introducing myself I became frustrated with the what I saw as knit picking particulars. It seemed to me at the time that every idea I posted was picked apart and used opportunistically to further their own opinion on something that had little to do with what I was trying to talk about. I was really driven to the need of exploring concepts, getting involved in social morality debate heated me up with a variety of emotions I was not prepared to handel at the time. After some time and some personal re-asessment I decided to try again. I have a few emotional issues which I battle of which Marsha and I discussed not too long ago, I learned some really important lessons about being open with that exchange.

That we are free agents in an ever changing continuem of manifesting relative energy, Morality is a survival tool, not much more. Platts tends on the classical and consequently takes on the very preconceptions of the indiviual challenging them. in this way you challenge your very own prejudices, without discussions of this kind little progress would be made in the area of self assessment and common understanding.
