Hi Charlotte,

make sure to take the picture of the spider and the scale at the same
time - then you can almost automatically scale all the spider pictures
to the same size in one of the tps programmes or in Image J (another
free software for working with pictures). It's important that the spider
and the scale have both the same distance to the lens of the camera (so
that both are in focus when you're taking the picture). Otherwise our
results might be inaccurate.
