Slice" <dsl...@morphometrics.org> Subject: Re: Morpheus Java Error To: morphmet@morphometrics.org Does the command line "java -version" work? Sounds like it might not be set up to find Java from the command line. The subsequent errors are simply misdirection resulting from the first. By "the program executes when I access it directly", you mean double-clicking the jar file, right? The GUI part of the OS knows where java lurks. A standard java install should take care of this, but you might have to edit the environment search path. I would try a java reinstall before messing about with that. I would be interested in the output of "java -version" when you get it working. -ds On 6/26/13 2:40 AM, morphmet_modera...@morphometrics.org wrote: > > ----- Forwarded message from "Greiner, Thomas" <tgrei...@uwlax.edu> ----- > > Date: Tue, 25 Jun 2013 12:02:53 -0400 > From: "Greiner, Thomas" <tgrei...@uwlax.edu> > Reply-To: "Greiner, Thomas" <tgrei...@uwlax.edu> > Subject: Morpheus Java Error > To: Morphmet <morphmet@morphometrics.org> > > First off, thanks for developing and releasing the new (and old) version > of Morpheus. > > Second, I seem to have problems with program execution, which I suspect > are really java problems. > > I am running Windows 7 64 bit version.
