Donna I set up a reading time where all the kids are occupied reading silently for 20-30 minutes. I set up a schedule to see 3-4 students each day and meet with them briefly. In a few weeks time I see all my kids and over a marking period I see all of them a few times. We don't officially do reading workshop in my district, but I do my conferencing during SSR.
