I am willing to set up similiar groups of 6 this week and send info to your group to set up a group, but it will be helpful if one of you will be the "contact/reminder person" for the group.? I will be working on lists this week.? ????? This is the information I need typed in an email.? Teacher name, Grade, School address and ????????????????????? Teacher email. ?This is how it works: Use the month of September/part of Octobert to compile? notebook of student letters/pictures, state and? city facts,? pictures, etc.? Also include a "buddy" like a stuffed animal. Try not to make your package too big. ? One? teacher will compile a mailing? rotation.(I will do this for you this time) ? For example, one teacher will always be sending their package on to one other teacher until you eventually end up with your own notebook and buddy. ???? The buddy doesn't go home with students, as sometimes they can be damaged or lost. You share school activities, field trips, classroom things, info about your city/state. When you get a package, fill the back of the notebook with your own pages about your state, ?city and/or classroom.? It needn't be too complicated or laborious for you.? When your package comes back to you, it will be filled with other states' facts and student contributions. ?Kids will love to read it.? We keep the travel buddy for about one month only after which we send it off to our designated teacher.? Mailing dates will be Oct. 18, Nov. 18, Skip Dec mailing, Jan.10 , Feb.18, March 18, and April 18. If you are still interested please put the date of your reply in your email and get it to me asap.
