Sorry, I don't know who wrote it. I'm using this book in an Early Literacy Class I'm taking this semester. I'm using the program with 3 different reading groups. One of the groups is an Emergent Reading group. The other 2 have kids in the Fledgling level that started on level 4 in mid October with 1 starting level 10 today and the other is on level 7. The one on level 7 comes to resource reading from the Life Skills class.
