Hmm, I don't want to fuel a fire but our district works with the PEBC staff
and they are very adamant about changing from a mindset of 'reading
comprehension strategies' to 'thinking strategies', meaning they see this as
a mindset for thinking about thinking...  While I might agree we wandered
too far astray in this recent math discussion, I think we need to be mindful
that the thinking about thinking is an ever changing evolution of thought.
