I use a mixture of Words Their Way, Fountas & Pinnell's Word Study, and Four Blocks Working With Words materials. My word study "program" includes the regular use of a word wall, differentiated spelling test on a bi-weekly basis, some small group guided word study lessons based on developmental spelling levels, and some whole group word study lessons to build word knowledge. I think there are benefits to each of the programs I'm using and that each accomplishes a little something different, yet the same. I'd be happy to share more info if anyone is interested.
