Here are two links where you can preorder her book.  The barnes and noble site
has a description of the book.

Jan has been working at my school for five years.  We have been working with
some of the materials in her book during this time.  Our reading scores have
improved greatly.  Last year we had one student 3rd - 5th who did not score
proficient or advanced on our state test.  Beyond that, the number of students
below grade level in reading each year has dramatically reduced.  We recently
had vertical team meetings with our staff.  The consistent message throughout
our building no matter the grade level was the strenghth of our reading program
and the impact it is hvaing on all students.  The few students who enter below
grade level are quickly closing the gap.  I teach second grade.  Last year we
had 3 students total in second grade that ended the year below grade level.
Those students are all reading on grade level this year.  I really can't say
enough about Jan's materials.  Everything is clearly explained and there are
lesson plan templates to use for every level from Pre -A  through fluent
readers.  She provides explanation and examples of these plans and how to use
them.  Additionally, there are step by step instrustions and scaffolds for
teaching the different comprehension strategies.  This is an amazing book!
Hope this helps a little.

I preordered Jan Richardson's book on Amazon.com.  It's due out at the end of
April.  Also, the "Sisters" have published their 'Cafe Book,' which will also
be out this spring.
