Lauren, I used the Qualitative Reading Inventory, but it is another version of an IRA. I did like that there were explicit and implicit questions, as well as fiction and nonfiction passages. I always felt I gained helpful information as far as comprehension skills go. But the good ole Gates McGinnity gives you that standardardized assessment information. Gina
