Hello to all Members, My name is Jen and I am new to the site and this is my first posting. Here is one of the questions that I would like to present to this group. I pre-student taught in a first grade classroom last semester and keeping them in a low-risk environment was easy because everyone wanted to talk and answer questions. Next semester I will be in a fifth grade classroom; this is my question how can I keep the class in a low-risk environment? I want them to feel comfortable to answer questions in class without worrying that they could be wrong. I also want them to be comfortable with me to talk to about everything but I do not want them to walk all over me at the same time?
