Hi, Everyone. I am a new literacy coach and need some help/suggestions on how to advise teachers in integrating guided reading and a basal program. The district I'm working for would like teachers to use the basal as a resource instead of the whole program but some teachers are working on integrating both. Any advice on how to do this? I have 10 years of experience but have never used a basal program so that's why I'm a little unsure. Also, if you could recommend an article or book that talks about this I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
