Unfortunately I believe there are very few if any quality assessments for the secondary students. If you are looking for an individual assessment, I should think the Fountas and Pinnell Benchmark would give a comprehensive profile for students reading up to the 8th grade level. An examiner could determine accuracy, fluency and comprehension levels. To compliment this assessment one can refer to the Continuum of Literacy Learning which outline skills and strategies to strengthen specific areas of need.
