I just got a call from Jeff Stephenson that he, Chuck Krulas, Jerry Pruett, John Hockema and Dedrick Benz tried to re-find the reported Black-bellied Whistling-Duck at Rice Lake NWR in Aitkin but were unsuccessful. There were others there looking as well but no one was able to locate the bird.
