I will be traveling to northern Minnesota to visit family this Thursday and am curious whether Great Gray Owls have been found recently on either McDavitt Rd. (Sax-Zim bog) or Pietz's Rd (320th & Hwy 18, Aitkin County). The most recent sigthings I found were for Jan 6th (McDavitt) and Dec 29th (Pietz's). I'm hoping to make time to stop by one or both of these spots on the way north and any recent info (positive or negative) would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
