The Red Crossbills first found by Kim Eckert during last weekends MBW were still present at the same location as of Saturday, June 5th. Also of interest was a late lingering (or early returning) Harris's Sparrow on 88th st. in Byron Twp, and 4 Black-billed Magpies along CR 19 in McKinley Twp. Yellow Rail and Nelson's Sparrow continue to be vocal at Swamp Lake, 10 miles north of Walker on MN 371. Good birding!
