Another belated response from me :) As for the little non-Slate-colored
Dark-eyed Junco, I've heard several responses that have led me slightly more
towards the "Canadian Rocky Mountain" variety of this species. It sounds as
if the Rocky Mountain variety is a slight intergrade between the
slate-colored and Oregon varieties (both plumage and geographic location).
