Today I drove down to visit Lock and Dam #4 in Alma, WI to check out the
eagles.

On the way home I found a kestrel perched along Hwy 50 a few miles east of
where it intersects Hwy 52, just outside of Hampton.

By the way, there's good access to the water at Lock and Dam #4. There is
a small boat dock south of the dam which is open to the public. So it has
the potential to be a good spot for eagle photography. Just be sure to
dress warm! I got a few shots today, but the wind was coming from the
north so the eagles were facing away from the sun.
