At noon I returned from errands and saw the owl is now sitting in the wood duck box entry hole.
Of course a mob might drive the owl down for a time, off and on. As in past years, it may sit at the hole before flying out after dusk. You can see the box from the street by parking next to the Blue Spruces at the southwest corner of our house. If you stay in your car the owl will ignore you.
