I have been on posting hiatus for a while due to a technical matter: my email changed ever so slightly from my registration one and I could not figure out how to alert the system to that fact. I would receive the automatic digest but could not post to it. In the end I simply re-registered and now I am live again.
Mind you, I never was/will be a big poster: I am mostly interested in observations of bird behavior, species interactions and other details that shed light on the life histories of birds. I am not all that interested in generating (or reading) a weekend's worth of species lists, frankly. My "perception" is that the bulk of the posts tend to be just that.
