Three days ago, we counted around 1500 shorebirds on CR 15 west of Aitkin. This evening, there are just about zero -- this might be because of the PEREGRINE FALCON that was sitting in the middle of the mud flats. The WHITE PELICAN that was here for three days and gone the last three days is back near the mud flats on the south side of the road. I will see if there are any back tomorrow. Warren Nelson
