Hi All. This morning John Holden and I took a poor photo of our first
Killdeer of the year (just south of Northfield). At Wells Lake, we saw
Canvasbacks and a drake Pintail, both flagged by eBird as rare at this time
of year. Also at least 50 Gadwall, which eBird thought were unusually
numerous. The birds at Wells Lake require a scope due to the amount of
ice-free water.
