The doc (http://www.mozilla.org/projects/security/pki/nss/intro.html) documents there are two static libraries that are not included in any shared library of nss : libcrmf.a/crmf.lib and libjar.a/jar.lib.

They seem not to be included inside any binary distribution of NSS.

The associated include files, like crmf.h, are present in the package, so it seems the functionnality is intended to be available, but at the moment can't be accessed without a full recompilation.

This is an oversight of our binary distribution packaging process. I didn't realize that there are people who want to use libcrmf.a/crmf.lib. (libjar.a/jar.lib is only used by our command-line utilities modutil and signtool is not appropriate for general consumption.)

If you need libcrmf.a/crmf.lib, I can add it to
our binary distribution packaging script.
