The former does not follow from the latter.
a) the URL bar is not always visible
b) URL bars contain a lot of other information, and are hard to parse.

where told to check that it matched the URL above.
People should not be told to do this, because it defeats the entire
point of extracting the information for them. The indicator should be
correct, full stop.
