Unable to log into SSL sites with mozilla

Hi,

I've been using nightly builds of mozilla since
mozilla-20001109
and have been unable to log into sites requiring SSL authentication.
Sourceforge.net is one such (crucial) site.

Is this a known problem? Is there a workaround?
