Calm down. He did not said that Mozilla should not use
memory and CPU resources efficiently. He has said that
improvements CAN be and should be made.

All he has stated is something I, rather reluctantly, agree.
Computers age quickly, and advance quickly. Unfortunately
many software venders take advantage of today's advances by
playing less attention to memory and CPU use in their
software development. Many software in existence needs work
to reduce their memory requirements, and Mozilla is no
exception.

He didn't say that computers should be upgraded/replaced
every 6 months, but from my experience computers show a lot
of their age in 4 years.

And who specifically are referring to when you say "you"?
You're obviously referring to developers but, correctly me
if I'm wrong jesus X, he's not a developer, although I think
he makes his own contributions to Mozilla like the many
volunteers who don't know how to program.
