Not necessarily, if the shortcuts are harder to remember as a result.

I agree with you about the other stuff. However, you of all people will
know that there are many differing opinions on how to do a good UI.
Mozilla allows all of those people to try out their ideas. I think that's
a good thing, and can only help UI research.
