I've seen quite a bit of help (you called it `good advice from jband,
brendan, mstoltz'', see [1]) and encouragement (e.g., [2]) sent your
way. I've heard a lotta big talk from your corner (some of it quite
patronizing, frankly), and it looks like you're starting to understand
how XPConnect works. But I have yet to see any patches materialize.

If you've got the time and the money, I guess I really don't see what's
stopping you from proposing (aka, putting the rubber on the road and  
implementing) your changes to XPCOM and/or XPConnect.

I have yet to see a good patch that moves the ball in the right
direction be rejected.
