This appears to be the case in the Win32 installer build, I am now using
the zipped build which does not seem to have this problem for me.
All this probably has to do with the landing of the new mail/news branch
this weekend.
The zipped build I am using right now has a few other regressions and
will not be using images in the threadpane until the new imagelib
(libpr0n) branch lands.
So the answer to your question probably is yes. Expect things to
stabilize a bit more over the next days.
In the mean time, if you need a more stable version download one of the
0.8.1 builds which as far as I know still use the 'old' mail/news branch.
On a brighter note, the new mail/news branch run circles around the old
code performance wise. If you can deal with a few regressions I recommed
downloading one of these builds and maybe file a few bugs on it.
Hope this helps,
Rob
