Mail not being translated.

I am using Mozilla v0.9.1 on NT Workstation SP 6a.
I am coming across email sent to me that is not being translated. It starts with 
this:

<x-html>
<html xmlns:o="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" 
xmlns:w="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:word" 
xmlns="http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40";>


Does the mail reader translate xml or is it an x-html problem? I have other mail 
that is not being translated that starts only with:
<x-html>
