No.  I use Eudora for email because I like it.  I like how my mail is 
presented to me.  Some people use Pegasus, some use Outlook.  The idea 
is all of them should be standards complient, but they should each have 
a different presentation.  You pick what looks best and feels best to 
you.  Not "Use an MS product or else you are screwed because we own the 
world"
