That's what I had always heard too. Yet when I recently went to Bali
(Malaysia) they were pointing either way... clockwise and
anti-clockwise.

So either their concrete cutters don't care (plausible) or the frozen
head of hitler has been sitting quitely while constructing a robot
army (unlikely)
