99% is grossly incorrect, yah I know you are trying to make a point but it's quite invalid. The spread is more like 80/20 and diminishing for MS/IE. I was sysadmin for an 8,000 seat corporate network that switched to Communicator several years ago mainly because IE/OE was a virus magnet that we couldn't afford to use any longer. I also was webmaster for a very large computer mail-order company. The previous webmaster used FrontPage, the result being that Navigator/Communicator *CUSTOMERS* had great difficulty navigating/ordering from the web site. When I took over the position we switched to HotDog Pro and made SURE that the web site was "every browser compatible". Sales escalated 20% almost overnight. My point is that, from a Corporate viewpoint, why deny access (knowingly/unknowingly) to ANY significant percentage of "potential" buyers ??? Follow THE standards, program for the 'customer' and NOT the programmer's ego. -- Jay Garcia - Netscape Champion Novell MCNE-5/CNI-Networking Technologies-OSI UFAQ - http://www.UFAQ.org
