I'm aware that and have enough knowledge to stay away from FDISK (I hope). That said there are new people getting computers all the time and reading just enough stuff to be dangerous to themselves, be it Mac OS, Windows, DOS, or UNIX. In fact pure UNIX using command line, is more likely to cause damage, minor or Major due to the accidental typing ( Hands engaged before the brain) or wrong Command. MacAddict and MacWorld have both reported various Command line commands fro mainatainnece of UNIX in OS-X. Just the use of a / - in the wrong area (with a particular letter) can make difference between a minor anoyance and a major reinstall in some cases. -- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Phillip M.
