Knew about the Win-D combo, but I was talking about in the Open dialogue
box. I was kinda rambling; what I meant to say was: While going through
the more convoluted process of opening the app then using the app to
open the file -- instead of double-clicking -- when the Creator Type is
set wrong, at least in the Open dialogue box the Mac lets me use Cmd-D
to bolt to the desktop folder right away. (I'm a lzy key-command type
of person).
Actually, it seems like Win-D and Win-M do the same thing in Win2K --
minimize all the windows and show the desktop.
