I'm not sure that this qualifies as a full-fledged "bug", but it
represents a quirky behavior that I'm experiencing with
Mozilla 0.9.6 on SuSE 7.3 Linux (2.4.10-4GB) under KDE.

When a new window pops up, the focus is in the URL bar.

That wouldn't be such a big deal, but the usual keyboard accelerator
shortcut of Control-W to close the window does not seem to work the
same way in the URL bar as it does in main HTML display pane.

If I click on some text in the HTML display pane, then the Ctrl-w
shortcut works just fine.

But should it be this way? Should focus automatically go into the URL
bar? Or should Ctrl-W function the same there as in the rest of
display panes?

Thanks
