In fact, when you guys get through discussing this, you might want to
read our plan a bit more carefully Very few of the things in it are
*new* features, and some of those are *in* the Mozilla 1.0 plan, such as
Print Preview and Page Setup. Most of the rest are either performance
or usability improvements to existing features, which is also *in* the
mozilla1.0 roadmap. Even some of the new features, such as Tabbed
Browsing, can be seen as performance and usabillity improvements, since
they allow the user to do things more quickly and easily.
Here is the breakdown (now slightly out of date):
Scheduled work: 588 days, 51% of project time
Performance: 290 d, 25%
Usability: 122 d, 11%
Correctness: 24 d, 2%
New features: 153 d, 13%
560 days for debugging, 49% of project time
