The difference, as I see it, is Netscape 6 is a replacement to Netscape 4. On Windows, that typically means the new program takes all the associations away from the old program. If on the Mac, that means using the same codes for the new as the old, thus making the new one open instead of the old one, that's the way it's intended. If a PC person has two apps that can open the same document, the default one will open if you double click it. I see this as a plus. Perhaps you don't.
