It also happens to me, but only on 2 sites (XP - .0.9.7). Download.com
and zdnet.com will every other day (or so) pull out a stale version of
the main page. I can't replicate it b/c it's so inconsistent and doesn't
seem so widespread, but speaking as an end-user, when a browser starts
pulling out stale web pages, it's a bug, to me anyway. Whether or not
there is a fix is another question.
