I don't think there's a way to do that in Mozilla, but Pegasus Mail ( ( http://www.pmail.com/ ) has an option to display only the plain version of messages with an alternative instead of the "fancy" one. And it doesn't do web redirects even when it displays HTML messages. It's a nice email program for curmudgeons like me who still think that plain text email with lines of no more than 70 characters and hard line breaks between them, and replies written after a carefully trimmed quote preceded with angle brackets and followed by a completely blank line, is the way God intended email to be sent. -- Dan
